Is Beauty Only Skin Deep?

Birthday Update: It was a classic. My entire day was quite relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my spa day at the Chop Shop, my continental breakfast at Rituals, sushi dinner. Yes, I skipped lunch 🤫

Oh! Don't get all antsy, after reading my birthday post. it's only because I had to do some SHOPPINGGGG, and at the top of my list were NEW SHOES 👠 and my favourite foundation (FIT Me- from the Maybelline line). Which gave me the inspiration for our blog today.



Queens, 

I know they say that beauty comes from within, and I do believe it. I think beauty has a lot to do with how we feel about ourselves. Beauty feeds off self- confidence, which is why we still look amazing even on our worst days. 

BUT!!!!!!! I also know that when I put on a pair of heels and add a touch of foundation to my face.. I walk into any space like I own it!

So tell me, in all of your feminine greatness, what is that one item that when you wear it you feel FIERCE? Is it a great lippie, new hair, sexy panties?

Dear Joy,  This blog is dedicated to you. (Yes, she is real...haha) The first time I met you in the office, you greeted me with such a warm smile and introduced yourself. Since then, your infectious smile has remained, and so, I know it’s completely genuine. You are: A team player (always willing to cover my shifts, no hesitation) An effective communicator (you listen and get your point across respectfully) A sweetheart (you fill the room with Joy) With that being said... Joy, my darling,  STOP caring what other people think about you, because once you stop you become powerful ! Negative people only project their fears and insecurities on others. Remember that! Feel good about yourself, do not give your power away! So keep your chin up Joy, or the crown slips. Queens, let us uplift Joy. Share some encouraging words in the comment section! Birthday Girl!

  One time for the birthday girl!!! It's my birthday y'all! Another year around the sun and in this moment, all I feel is gratitude. This year has been one with lotssss of changes and challenges BUT! I am learning to face my lessons with grace.  What's on my birthday wish list, you asked?? All I really wanted was the gift of relaxation and to eat good,  three (3) square meals.😄 It might sound crazy, I know but for someone who is always on the go, I tend to skip a meal more often than I like.   Meet me on my other post to see how it spent my day!
